At this time of year of giving – we wanted to pass on these sentiments sent to us by our dear friends at Safe Haven Foundation – an incredible organization we hold close to our hearts and continue to philanthropically support.  I hope as you read it you will be filled with gratitude and appreciation for your families and the love that fills your hearts. For those less fortunate, may we never forget their struggles and do our best to continue to lend a helping hand to improve their lives and the future of our youth. We wish all the best to you and yours this holiday season.

Sincerely, Paul & Elaine Klassen

Christmas . . . a time of year where loved ones gather in friendship, where traditions are shared and the feeling of love echoes loudly within us.   For us, one of the greatest gifts every year is an evening at the Haven’s Way Homes . . . the girls cook up an incredible dinner, some have a sibling, a family member or a friend as their guest and it is a magical evening filled with great food, laughter and heartfelt conversations in the company of inspiring and incredible young women.

Gratitude and appreciation for the life they are now living is the common thread of many of the conversations.  We are blessed to hear this first hand and it would be remiss if we did not take this moment to share with you at least one powerful message said by one young lady . . .

“Haven’s way is a safe place. We all come from these broken scary places and we are just looking for love; looking for a home and a family. Haven’s way is that safe home with a family. We take care of each other and love each other. Thank you for making Haven’s way a possibility and an opportunity for each one of us.”

You, our valued supporters help make this new world a reality and provide these incredible young ladies with a home filled with support and love and encouragement.  They discover that they are worthy of love, of feeling safe in a world that is challenging for the best of us, and they find the freedom and the courage to make what was once the impossible possible.

What a precious and wonderful gift You are for being part of their lives.  May you find much peace and happiness over the holiday season.

Warmest Regards Always,

Karen, John and the Safe Haven Foundation Family~~~
