Heritage Pointe Acreage Exterior & Outdoor Living Renovation
Sometimes the biggest renovation decision isn't what to renovate—it's whether to renovate at all.
When these Heritage Pointe homeowners first contacted Pinnacle Group, they weren't certain if investing in their home made sense. Having raised their family on this beautiful acreage for more than two decades, they loved the mature trees, established landscaping, and the memories they had built there. But as they approached their empty-nest years, they found themselves asking the same question many homeowners do: Should we renovate or relocate?
After walking the property together, the answer became clear.
While the home's interior had already seen updates over the years, the exterior no longer reflected the beauty of the property itself. The front entrance lacked presence, the wraparound veranda was showing its age, and the outdoor living spaces weren't being enjoyed to their full potential.
The transformation began with the home's curb appeal.
A completely reimagined front façade introduced a welcoming new entrance, oversized architectural columns, natural stone, premium board-and-batten siding, and maintenance-free materials selected to stand the test of time. Every detail was carefully considered to create a home that feels warm, timeless, and perfectly suited to its acreage setting.
The backyard became just as transformative.
A custom three-season room now connects seamlessly to the kitchen, dining area, and primary suite, creating an inviting destination for entertaining throughout much of the year. Complete with a soaring vaulted ceiling, fireplace, outdoor kitchen, television, hot tub, and powered Phantom Screens, the space allows the homeowners to enjoy their property from early spring through late fall.
One of the most valuable improvements isn't immediately visible.
Because the property sits near Highway 2, Pinnacle recommended incorporating extensive sound mitigation throughout the new addition—even though the homeowners initially felt it wasn't necessary. By insulating the structure specifically for noise reduction and pairing it with powered screens that help contain warmth and reduce outside sound, the result is a remarkably peaceful retreat where conversations can happen comfortably while the surrounding landscape remains the focus.
Today, this acreage has become everything the homeowners hoped it could be—a place that honours the memories they've already made while giving them beautiful new spaces to enjoy family, entertain friends, and embrace the next chapter of life without leaving the property they love.
